    Class Types
    5 months and older

    We welcome Nancy Pritz to teach Competitive Obedience. Her attention to detail will help you and your dog ready for AKC Obedience Competitions. This class is strictly for dogs that have successfully completed Basic 2 Obedience or have instructor permission to register.

    Puppies aged 8 to 18 weeks

    Focus on socialization, preventing aggression and preventing behavior problems. Pups are turned loose to play in a safe, structured environment. 

    Puppies 18 weeks to 8 months

    Obedience includes go to your mat/place, sit, lie down, introductory heeling, wait at the door, coming when called and impulse control.

    5 months and older

    Focus on obedience including wait at doors/gates, sit to greet a human, heel, loose leash walking, lie down, off, drop-it, coming when called from distractions and leave-it.

    5 months and older

    Dogs that have had previous training. Focus on heeling, adding distractions, finish and stays with distance. AKC Canine Good Citizen components are introduced and practiced.

    5 months and older

    Dogs that are proficient in Basic II obedience/heeling. Follow the signs as they direct you from start to finish. Learn some challenging obedience moves along the way.

    5 months and older

    Try out the fun sport of dog agility. This class is for dogs over 6 months old that are truly people friendly and dog friendly.

    5 months and older

    Students will learn to teach their dogs to sit, stay, come when called, and “focus” around the many distractions of an agility environment.

    Dogs must have completed Obedience for Agility

    Continue your dog’s foundation in this exciting sport. Each week we will introduce new concepts/obstacles that are necessary to have a confident, happy agility dog.

    Dogs must have completed Introduction to Agility 1

    This class is for the dog with some agility and foundation training. Dogs should be comfortable with a least half height A-Frame and Dog Walk.

    Dog with over 1 year agility experience

    This class is for the somewhat experienced dog and handler, and focuses on improving handler and dog performance. Your dog should be comfortable with full height equipment.

    Dogs that are currently competing at dog shows

    This class is for experienced dogs and handlers. Current students are trialing in beginner and advanced competitions.

    5 months and older

    If you are looking for something fun to do with your dog, Circus Dog is a great option! Teach your dog how to roll over, get onto things, push barrels, and even learn to skateboard! There are so many tricks your dog can learn! Plus, you get to train with an actual circus performer!

    5 months and older

    This class teaches your dog what to scent for and teaches you how to read your dog’s body language as it searches. All dogs must be crated between turns.

    5 months and older

    This class is for those who have had some experience in nosework. We work all facets of nosework – containers, vehicles and different environments inside and out.

    5 months and older

    This class is for the experienced nose work dog. Current students are trialing in advanced competitions. All dogs must be crated between turns. Please bring your own crate.
